Since Amazon SES won’t let me out of the sandbox, I’ve had to look for alternatives.
That’s when SMTP2GO caught my eye—it offers a free plan for up to 1,000 emails per month, which makes it worth trying. After following their setup instructions, everything worked, and yes—I can now send emails to Outlook and Gmail without issues.
It feels like my mail server search might finally be wrapping up. But if my monthly usage exceeds 1,000 emails, what’s the cost?
SMTP2GO’s Starter Plan is $15/month. Still, it’s smart to have a backup plan in case we need to scale up our email volume someday.
